I am so sorry for not paying more attention to this blog.... I have been working on the film and the center, by getting my personal affairs in order. Including taking care of my son. They "diagnosed him with another tumor twice the size of the original. But I have discovered that after 16 MRI's with contrast in 4.5 years, he has heavy metal poisoning. The highest metal being Gadolinium, the main metal in the magnevist contrast used in the MRI's. His level began at 1000 times above the normal limit. One of the main symptoms of Gadolinium poisoning is Brain swelling. So he has been receiving chelation therapy to leach out the metals and he is now getting better. He also had cadmium, aluminum and nickel levels that were above normal limits, but not to the same degree as the Gadolinium. We chose to postpone any surgical interventions and not to exercise the radiation or chemotherapy options either. He hasn't had any of those treatments and he has been getting consistently better. It is funny, but is seems that medicine has been transforming from a healing art into a revenue generating machine. It is so sad when doctors, healers, are forced to determine how many "RVU's" or "Relative Value Units" (used to calculate reimbursement) there were in any given visit with a patient. The modern physician's salary and vacation time is based in how many of these he accrues in a given year. It isn't based in how many patients lives he/she saved or illnesses were cured. It is based in the bottom line. So when my son's overworked and stressed out doctors give him the allotted 15 minutes for his visit, we have to be very careful not to confuse them with the doctors of old who were allowed to be healers without having to worry about the financial bottom line.
I just looked at the cancer active website and I think they have a lot of good information there. thanks
ReplyDeleteHow is the funding for your Cancer treatment film and wellness center coming??
